We had an incredible experience out on the water with Captain Jared, who made the entire trip fun, engaging, and especially kid-friendly for our family. Our two sons (ages 11 and 12) had an absolute blast and were smiling the entire time. Captain Jared did a fantastic job keeping the boys involved, helping them with their lines, and celebrating every catch, which made it even more special for them. We ended up catching 21 assorted fish, which was perfect for our kids—they loved the constant action and excitement of reeling them in one after another. If you’re looking for a family-friendly fishing trip where the kids will stay entertained and make lasting memories, we highly recommend Captain Jared!

This was our 4th trip with Captain Jared. Of the 15 or so captains we've had on charters, he's by far our favorite. He's put us on fish every time, is flexible on what to target based on your goals and he knows where to find the fish. On top of all his fishing knowledge, he's a great guy who's fun to spend several hours with on the water. He's fantastic with my teenage son too. Can't recommend Captain Jared highly enough!

We had never been on an offshore fishing trip. Three adults and a 10 year old girl. Captain Jared was very helpful, patient and great with our young angler. We caught Red Snapper and "Mingos" as fast as the captain could rig our lines. Came back with a cooler full and after the captain cleaned our haul he made a recommendation for having Dewey Destins cook some of our catch. Great suggestion. Look forward to booking again!!

Captain Jared was incredibly communicative and made this trip a memorable one for my 12 year old son and I. We booked the 4-hour Captain’s Choice and had a blast. Caught several fish, including two king mackerels and a Bonita we kept. Jared was very helpful and patient, especially with my son (who won’t stop bragging about out-fishing me). He even filleted the fish for us and offered great cooking tips or recommended places that would cook it for us. We’d absolutely book with him again and recommend him to anyone looking for a fun, well-run fishing trip.

His patience and care with the kids was great, he made sure they were aware of what was going on and made sure to coach them and us through the whole process. We even got to catch a shark.
